The Impulse pedometer is an accurate counter for those who want a simple device to count steps. The design could be improved for the average user by 1. inverting the display so the walker can read it (I tell my husband what it says!) 2. enlarging the reset button for real people (it's too small). Otherwise good value for the money.

Ideal for your 10,000 steps program.A handy accessory for walkers everywhere, the Impulse B1 pedometer counts all your steps up to 99,999, so you'll know exactly how far you've gone and how far you still have to go. It's estimated that 10,000 steps is the equivalent of roughly 5-1/4 miles (the actual number may vary based on step stride), so all but the most tenacious ultra-marathon walkers will be covered by the B1. And the pedometer couldn't be easier to use, with a single button reset and a large step display. The B1 also comes with a rear clip for attaching to a belt or pack.
