I have meditated for many years without a prop.
I finally decided to get one, and I love it. I can sit longer and my legs will not go to sleep, the ? to myself was why did I wait so long to buy the prop. I just love my new Zafus Meditation Cushion.
I do not like to order from Hugger Mugger direct they make so many mistakes, but ordering from Amazon a Hugger Mugger product is a better. Thanks Amazon.

This cushion arrived exactly as described. It is firm enough to give long-lasting support yet molds to your body better than simply sitting on the ground. It is a bit bulky to take with you on trips and what not, but is perfect for meditation practice at home.
The cloth seems durable and the handle makes it easy to move around. This zafu is very easy to use and is great for my use (daily meditation).

I bought a zafu exactly like this one three years ago. I loved it, and my wife grew to love it, as well. This year, I got her one for her birthday. I tried shopping locally, but even in a major metropolitan area, finding a zafu with buckwheat filling that's less than fifty dollars is pretty much impossible. Nice product, good construction, nice handle, very comfortable. The plum color is a bit too purple for my taste (not that it's any different than the photograph here). I checked out (ordered and returned) a couple of other cushions including the black one from Hugger Mugger and found that this one is perfect for me. Its the right size for my behind as well as has the right amount of filling. Black one was too big in all directions. I would totally recommend this cushion. It works both for my daughter who is XS and I who is LG.
