I chose this product after having used multiple different meditation cushions where I meditate, and found this one to be by far the most comfortable, particularly when sitting for long periods of time. The hidden zipper allows you to adjust the amount of fill, creating a customized height that is adjustable with changes in hip flexibility. While it is a good sized and not light, it can definitely be carried and transported if you move from room to room throughout a day of meditation. I wouldn't want to take it backpacking, but then I don't know of any meditation cushion that I would. Its size and buckwheat filling also allow for it to be comfortable in multiple seated positions, which I found vital when at an all day meditation workshop.
