I used this for the first time yesterday. One nice thing was there was no odor right out of the package. I like that it is made from natural materials. It provides firm stable support. The cork provides good grip and comfort. It doesn't offer much cushion if that is what you are looking for this might not be what you want. I was looking for something to help me in those positions where I am supposed to have a hand on the floor but am not flexible enough to do it. This works great for that!Customer Review: Love it!

I LOVE that this block is both "heavy" and "light". I have never liked the foam blocks because they feel too light like they will slip out from under me when doing a precarious pose. I love the wooden blocks but they are a bit heavy to lug around. This block is awesome. It gives me a secure feeling when I'm leaning on it for support and it's light-weight enough to carry around comfortably. Well worth paying a little extra and getting this block instead of the foam ones.Customer Review: The best yoga block

The best block in my opinion, nice weight to it, solid, soft and easy to grip surface, sturdy. I don't like the foam blocks, too unstable and light and slippery. The studio where I practice has the same type and they seem to have held up through many many student uses over at least a year or more. The only damage sustained to mine has been when my kitten took a gnaw on the corner. So maybe keep out of the way of kittens. This block is way better than the other rubber foam ones. It is sturdy and does not bend in poses like supported bridge. Because it is so sturdy it can feel a little hard in some supported poses, so I usually place a blanket over it when I am doing a heart opener. It doesn't have a rubbery synthetic smell, instead it has a slight earthy scent, almost like hay. I would recomend this to everyone, it is environmentally sound and will probably last forever!Customer Review: Cork is the way to go

After checking feedback re blocks, I ordered two Hugger Mugger Cork Yoga Blocks. I love them. They have increased my yoga class immensely. I can lean into a pose without fighting my current inflexibity and still benefit from the pose. Cork absorbs the sweat. A plus because yoga is amazing in that I move so little and sweat so much. I also have a pair of Danskin blocks for home practice and they get sweaty quickly, making for a bit of slippage.
