The three-piece, 2-inch diameter pole system assembles and breaks down quickly, and the base is stabilized with either sand or water (and includes a built-in holder for the ball). We purchased this BasketBall Hoop for our 4 yr old son because he loves to play basketball & we play with him.
The height is adjustable so it's perfect for him as we can make the right size for him now & make it higher later when needed. His Dad & I can play with him & shoot and not have the hoop fall down like the other hoops for young kids. It's very sturdy, great for backyard play & easy assembly!!! Don not get any other HOOP!!!!! This one really is the best for younger children!!!! ENJOY!!!!

This is a great mid-sized hoop for the money. We purchased it for our 4-year old and we feel like it will grow with him. He is fairly tall for his age and we have it on the lowest setting. There is still a lot of room for him to grow into it, so we are hoping to have it for quite a few years to come. The quality is quite good for the price and I think it will hold up nicely. We have had this for a month and it is holding up very well under alot of use. It was easy to put together and has held up to the weather staying in one place after a few strong storms. For reference, my 6 and 7 year olds are using it with a youth ball. They are not abusing it or hanging onto the rim. I play with them and take some shots from pretty far away and it's done well with the force of the ball from a distance.Customer Review: Great basket for future hoopsters!

My boys (6 and 3) love this hoop. It is much better then the Little Tykes version and looks like a real hoop. It is a little smaller then regulation and only goes to about 6.5 feet. Both boys shoot just a slightly smaller version of the basketball without any trouble and make most attempts. I would recommend this for any youngster that wants to shoot on a "real" hoop.Customer Review: Great item!

So far so good! We are loving our new goal for my 3 year old son. It's still a little high, but he is learning to shoot up. It is very sturdy and seems to be a great purchase!
