This was a present for my daughter's 8th birthday. I was a little worried that she would not enjoy riding this and that she would have trouble controlling it. I was wrong in both cases. She begs to ride it everyday which is sometimes impossible as winter is approaching. She bundles up in her winter gear and takes it for spin anyway and I do mean spin! She learned how to do the 180 spin after only 15 minutes of owning this awesome trike. Her 10 year old brother is now saving his money to buy his own in the spring. He has had a great time with the Green Machine, too. He would just rather have a green one.
The Green Machine was easy to put together and the directions were easy to follow. I would suggest having an extra person available to help to make the assembly go smoothly. The sturdy steel frame will help this toy last a very long time.
