For players with long swings, good control and looking for accuracy when spinning, this is the racquet for you. The mid doesn't have a lot of power, but for those of you looking for accuracy, that shouldn't matter. Coming out of an old oversize to this mid was perfect for my game. Very comfortable with absolutely no arm fatigue after hours of play. Make sure to try this one before purchasing another.
Description of Head FlexPoint Radical Mid Plus Tennis Racquet
The Head FlexPoint Radical MidPlus is the latest version of Head's hugely successful Radical series, made for Andre Agassi. A unique "cupping" effect occurs that provides a more solid feel to the Flexpoint Radical than in the Liquidmetal Radical and i.Radical of past generations.Two precisley engineered holes at the 3:00 and 9:00 position work together to bring power in control. The dimple is engineered to create flexibility by reducing beam height by a maximum of 25%. The hole reduces sectional stiffness up to 50%. Basically, the racquet is cupping the ball to hold the ball a split second longer and create a narrower path. A rifle instead of a shotgun. The racquet also produces less shock making the new FlexPoint Radical a winner for intermediate to advanced players with faster swings.
