My 5 year old son and I play this all the time! It's a ton of fun and gives you a smaller version of the game you might play at a chuckey cheese. The playing surface is well made but the underside is made out of particle board. The fan and the electric transformer are attached to the particle board with screws and every single screw has now stripped out on it's own so we have had to gerry rig it so that the fan and transformer stay in place. If the fan isn't solidly attached the air coming through the holes isn't strong enough to keep the puck floating above the surface and it impedes the play of the game. Aside from that (and if you are OK with engineering a new way of attaching the fan) the game is a lot of fun!Customer Review: Too expensive

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my kids as we love playing air hockey together. They were really excited until they tried playing with it. Looks OK but very cheaply made and the motor is really just there for noise as it is not powerful enough to make the puck float like it should. The puck slides across the table surface instead and scratches the surface after a couple games making it even more difficult. I guess you get what you pay for but after only 2 weeks, I'm giving this away to charity. Don't waste your money on this one. Spend a few extra bucks and buy better quality; otherwise, spend the money at the local arcade - you'll get more enjoyment out of it.
