Sports reviews of Harbinger Adjustable Hand Grip Strengthening GripCustomer Review: Good product Sport shop rating: 4 Stars
Excellent product. I am up to the "40" resistance and wish it came with a higher resistance. Like it.
Customer Review: Good, not great, design Sport shop rating: 3 Stars
major flaw is difficulty in changing between any of the three resistance levels provided. Directions make it look easy. It isn't. Otherwise, a well made product, with more comfortable grips than the usual spring-loaded hand grips.

My husband had to have this. I find the bands everywhere and he has lost interest. Probably good if you actually use it.
Customer Review: More problems than it should have Sport shop rating: 2 Stars
For what seems a simple device, this has some problems that I did not anticipate when I ordered it. I rate it low because such a simple device has only a few features, so a few problems means it's overall problematic.
1) It has a very strong rubbery smell that gets on your hands
2) As you work it in your hand, the rubber resistance piece works itself off - imperceptibly at first so it just seems that the resistance has softened - and finally slips all the way off - after say 20 or 30 quick repetitions. You have to keep pushing it back in place just to use it.
It does have some advantages. Good, I think, for larger hands. Grip is cushioned, but still works against your skin enough that over time it may help develop calluses (great for me since I'm using this to strengthen for windsurfing, which is tough on hands).
Customer Review: Not so great Sport shop rating: 2 Stars
I didn't find that it worked very well. The weight bars slide up slowly and the resistance weakens so you have to constantly re-adjust it. The highest weight is also relatively easy to outgrow right from the beginning. I bought it and now have to buy another one...
