This is a great mat. I originally had bought a yoga mat to do yoga and Qi Gong with but, it was not padded enough for my head and back when I did the laying down exercises. This exercise mat is padded well and the most comfortable that I have tried. I had gone through several at the stores and had returned them all. Also, there is no unpleasant odor that you get from the others.
The only thing to consider with this mat is that it is not skid proof but for the exercises I do it works great! I would have liked to pay less but, think that you get good quality for the money. It has carry handles that help tote it from one place to the other and folds up easily. Very easy to clean.

This mat easily folds to a very convenient size and the carry handles that you can use when it folded are great. The mat cushioning is perfect and I can lie comfortably on a concrete floor without any discomfort at all. I am not using the mat for yoga but for stretching exercises and meditation and it works perfectly for me. It's slightly shorter than most people's body height at five feet, but since I don't need the additional length for what I'm using it for (lying on my back with my knees bent or on my hands on knees), it works great. The extra cushioning is fairly firm, but I would think it's too deep for yoga practioners.Customer Review: Great Exercise Mat

I'm very happy with this purchase. I've been using a 3/8" thick mat for my ab workouts and with new tile floors it started leaving marks on my lower back near the tail bone. I've been using this new mat pretty much everyday for a month now and the marks are gone and I can actually do situps and ab workouts without any discomfort. The cushion thickness is perfect and the size of the mat works great for me. I don't recommend it for standing workouts as it will probably shift around but I love it for my ab workouts. Used a super thick rolled-up type for years but always hated having to hassle with the rolling/unrolling and keeping it flat while working out. However, it lasted forever. Finally decided the somewhat absorbant material needed to be replaced so went ahead and purchased this one. VERY pleased!
Easy to clean.
No hassles to keep flat, fold or store.
It's a bit large but easy to carry and even easier to work out with. Provides excellent support even on hard tile floors. Very good option!

After checking local stores for this product, and not finding what I wanted, I decided to try an online purchase and was very pleased with this product. It is very light-weight and easy to transport, but yet durable. It has one of the thicker pads that I could find, at 2" thick instead of just 1.5 or less and that really makes a difference. It is a little on the small side, but for my home workout it is just what I need to give extra cushion and support. I am very pleased.
