Sports reviews of Harbinger 1250 Training Grip WristWrap GloveCustomer Review: Extremely comfortable but they don't last! Sport shop rating: 4 Stars
I've bene using these gloves for about a year. Compaired to other gloves these aren't exactly cheap so I expected them to last. They feel tight and stiff at first but once you break them in they are great. They have provided me with the best comfort I've ever felt in a lifting glove. They have nice thick straps for excellent lifting support. I haven't felt my wrist ache from lifting in a long time. My old Valeo gloves were so bad I used to wrap my wrist in ace durring workouts and on off days. These seemed to cure the simple issue. The padding is pretty thick so sometimes griping the bar doesn't feel so "natural" you have to work around the padding from time to time. It's not necessarily a bad thing since the gloves are doing their job, but if you like gloves that give you that "raw" feeling these aren't them. I workout about 4 days a weak. Moderate lifting sometimes heavy. When lifting heavy weight I have noticed that the gloves tend to cost you your grip. Sometimes I ever take them off to get a better hold on the bar. These are good if your doing bench presses, shrugs under 100lbs, pulldowns, hammerstrength machines etc. For hard serious lifting I'm still up in the air. They will keep your palms safe, but the gripfactor can be a pain. To clear everything up when I say grip I mean your "grip form." The gloves themselves stick to everything so bar slip isn't something you need worry about.
My only real problem with these gloves is that they are falling apart on me. The inner portion has holes in the center of the palm portion and holes all along the finger portions. I can see the insulation starting to come out...not very good at all. Kinda dissapointed me. I would buy these gloves again, they seem to feel great so it's worth it but I only wished they lasted longer.
Customer Review: These are great! Sport shop rating: 4 Stars
I work out personally about 4 to 5 times a week.
These are my second Harbinger gloves I've bought. The first pair I bought three years ago are still going strong but they are a bit frayed from the usage.
I personally like the WristWrap support. I do find my self having to re-adjust the straps every once in a while but it's really no hastle.
I got a pair of large and they fit snug... almost a little too snug. However after two work out sessions they loosened up and feel like a good match.
All in all I have to admit Harbinger make good work out gloves, that are durible and supportive.
Customer Review: Best gloves for weight lifting!! Sport shop rating: 4 Stars
Having used Valeo and Schiek in the past, I must say these gloves are the best pair I've used. The comfort level is incredible with massive padding where needed and good wrist support. Construction feels solid and looks great. The only problem with these gloves is that they have a strong, um, super strong, smell. I don't know if it's just the pair I have, but at first they had a burnt brake pad kind of smell, which disappeared after cleaning them. Other than that...no complaints what so ever. Conclusion: Buy them...you won't regret it!!
Customer Review: The best training glove ever! Sport shop rating: 4 Stars
It's great...
Before using this glove I used to have wrist problems. I bought a Medium size but it turned out to be quite small for my hands. I was going to return it but then decided to use it anyway. Now it turned out that using a slightly smaller size is much better because it wraps around my hands and wrist in a perfect fit! After a while I decided that Medium was the right size for me. I'm giving it 4 stars because they're not convenient to take off.
Customer Review: Excelent Option Sport shop rating: 4 Stars
These gloves are an excelent option to use them at a gym.
I like the cushion fit and the wrist band that protects you of the bending of your wrist. Are very confortable.
But i really don't like the feeling of the glove, seems to be weak and a poor made plastic. In a long term use, seems to scratched.
