After suffering from dehydration during marathon running for years, I discovered Endurolytes. These capsules have several different electrolytes (as opposed to some electrolyte supplements than only have one or two electrolytes). Endurolytes have largely cured my dehydration problems! I'm now able to finish the entire 26.2 mile course without suffering from nagging cramps. I used these during a 24-hour adventure race in Georgia in the heat of August. I used these capsules with plain water every hour and went through over 22 hours of solid effort without experiencing any cramping, muscle soreness, nausea or any other problems associated with dehydration or electrolyte depletion.
I don't use them all the time, but I would not want to do a hot weather event or long training session without them.

Used these on a two week hiking/climbing trip in Israel and Turkey. Hiked a lot with difficult climbs in high heat and humidity, and these worked great to keep from getting dehydrated. I am not a Gatorade fan, because of calories and taste so these are perfect for me. Also have 2 kids in high school sports, volleyball and football, and they use them too. I have suffered severe leg cramps for the last six months while biking. I tried adjusting my diet and nothing seemed to work. The worst part seemed to be at the end of the ride while waiting for a light to change. Hammer's Endurolyte product has eliminated this problem. This product does work for me. I use them on long runs, marathons and Ultras. They assist greatly with cramping. You just need to be dedicated to a set schedule on when to take them. You will have to determing what works best for you. They are easy to carry and they are easy to take while you are on the move.
