Grandma bought this for my kids (ages 4&7) for Christmas last year and they have LOVED it! So have all of their friends. This is a very sturdy teeter-totter - even my husband and I can get on. The kids will even double up on the seats so 4 can play at a time. We've had kids as young as 3 and as old as 14 playing on it and they all enjoy it. We have definitely put it through the wringer and it's holding up really well. You can run a chain through the middle and "lock" it so the kids cannot play unsupervised.
We were hesitant to let Grandma spend this much money, but she insisted and we have been very grateful We have definitely gotten her money's worth out of it! Don't waste your money on the cheaper ones. This one will last a long time - a good investment!

My parents bought the Gym Dandy as a combined birthday gift for my 3 and soon-to-be 5 year old girls.We have had it for just over a month. Both the girls are active and above average for height and weight. After much research this was the piece of equipment we selected based upon many positive reviews and we have not been disappointed.
When the large package arrived, my husband (who is quite handy) was very impressed with the quality of the frame and components. It took about an hour to construct but needed both of us to lift it out and put in it's poition in the yard (might have been easier to construct there in the first place)
As several others have noted, the seats are long enough for two children . We christened the Gym-Dandy during a play date with two other six year olds and my own children. It worked out great. At first we had it situated on the deck, but we noticed it began to 'move' with the enthusastic play so we moved it onto the grass. A much safer option.
The kids are really enjoying the Gym-Dandy and I have peace of mind while they are on it.
A really good buy in my opinion.

I agree that this is well made and a sturdy product. I have only had it a few months so I have not had to deal with the seat issues. As word of advice to other parents before you buy ANY see saw. The one problem I have is my kids don't use it unless a friend comes over because of the weight differences. Customer Review: Excellent

Heavy duty; well painted; very stable. This teeter totter is the best I have found. My grandchildren (3 & 5) are on it all the time with little worry. A bumper on the bottom of the seat keeps heels from being pinched. The mechanism is smooth and seats large so two can be on one side to balance a larger rider. My husband was impressed with how sturdy this was made. The seat can hold 2 people on each side. Easily assembled with 2 people. Love the safety latch. Can be moved easily once assembled. Grandaughter loved it. Great item for the price.
