This wobble board is great. There are cheaper ones out there, but they are not anywhere near as well made as this one. I have been using it for a month now. I had a problem with tendinitis in my heels, which caused me to stop running about six months ago. I have been doing Heavyhands exclusively, which is great for my upper body, but I wanted to strengthen my ankle area and maybe have less pain in my heels when I get up in the morning. Well, now the pain is almost gone and I have the wobble board to thank for it.
I should mention that this wobble board, as compared to the cheaper ones I have tried, has a greater surface area, an anti-slip surface, and sits higher off the ground than the competing wobble boards. This makes it more challenging to use. When I use it in conjunction with my Heavyhands workout, it really ramps up the intensity. I'm in better shape than when I ran every day. I may never go back to running now!

About a month or so ago, I sprained my ankle pretty severely and was worried about rehabbing it enough so I could hit the roads and start running again. I did some research and decided to order a wobble board to strengthen my ankles and reorient my proprioreceptors that affect balance when walking or running. I would call this a middle-of-the-line board in terms of price, which was very reasonable, and I have been very satisfied with the quality. I've gotten very good at standing on it, and the level of difficulty is satisfactory. It comes with a fitness DVD which I have not watched to completion because I find them boring, but if that's your thing you may like it. Overall, the wooden board seems very high quality and I am pleased with it.Customer Review: Good product for a good price

I really like the fact that it is made of wood rather than plastic. It's a wobble board so there isn't a lot you can say about it. It works, it was a good price and I think it was a good investment in my health. The only negative is that the instructional CD didn't work and when I called about it the girl on the other end gave me attitude. I never did get the CD issue dealt with. Still I haven't had any problems with the actual product itself. Defiantly worth the price and was delivered really fast.Customer Review: Good for developing better balance

For a simple balance board that works well on carpets as well as hard floor surfaces, the GoFit Ultimate Wobble Board and accompanying dvd are well worth the money. The board also has a good non-slip surface. I have been looking for something to help me get better balance and found the wobble board perfect. All the exercises on the dvd are good for practicing balancing as well as good strength builders. I could have paid a lot more and not gotten a better balance workout.Customer Review: Definite MUST BUY!!!

I love my wobble board! I ended up buying another one for my mom to use, because she loved mine and wanted one to use at her house. It really helps to work the core muscles, as well as the leg muscles. My friends and I all have competitions of who can balance the longest. This is a very well made board and I highly recommend it to anyone of any skill level. Much better quality than other plastic boards I've tried in the past. Great for proprioception!
