I tried a different "glide disc", and returned them when I was told about the Val Slides. These are WAY superior to the other brand, as they have padding (easier on the knees), are shaped more for the foot rather than a circle, and come with covers for use on hard surfaces (i.e. gym floor). The video was very helpful, provided 3 levels of intensity. I've even bought another glide video for variety. I have recommended this brand of slides to several people, who have since purchased them. Great product!

The Val Slide program is designed to help users of all fitness levels target their buns, thighs & abs in a fun, safe slide routine. The Val Slide kit includes two sturdy, hard plastic Val Slides with soft covers that are easily removed for use on carpeted floors. The included DVD takes you through a full workout & clearly demonstrates all the moves needed to achieve your fitness goals PLUS bonus nutritional information from Athletes' Performance. There is also a laminated "Slide Card" so the workout can be performed without the DVD anywhere, any time. The entire kit fits inside the included carry bag that fits in a gym bag, briefcase or carry on bag.Created by famed Hollywood trainer Valerie Waters, this workout program features two "ValSlides"--sturdy, hard plastic foot disks that slide on wood or tile floors as well as on carpeted floor when the slides are encased in their soft covers.
