Customer Review: Problem with adjuster poking the back of the head solved:

Please refer to my two customer images with notes and descriptions for full details.
I read that a few people complained about a piece in the back of the helmet that poked
their heads. I placed the extra pads that came with the helmet over the plastic adjuster
in the back of the helmet. I needed a smaller size anyway, and now it's perfectly
comfortable! If you need a larger size helmet like the size it comes without the
extra pads, you can probably make your own remedy :]
Other notes:
1. This helmet is at least 80% cooler looking than the dorky one I had before.
2. If you want a Giro helmet that looks even better than this one, plan on spending a
LOT of $.
3. The price of this one is great, so it's cool enough for me!
4. I LOVE the adjuster that you turn with your fingers in the back of the
helmet. It makes the helmet nice and snug without having to mess with the
chin strap after you get it where you want it. Just undo the chin strap and
twist the adjuster and BLAM, it's off.

The helmet is made using Giro's in-mold construction, which fuses the helmet's outer shell with an impact-absorbing EPS liner. Not only does this reinforce both layers, but the "exoskeleton" also allows Giro to engineer helmets that are lighter, more durable, and better ventilated. The helmet also employs Giro's patented Acu Dial fit system, which hugs the back of your head and reduces the tendency of your helmet to shift forwards or backwards. Unlike most system, the Acu Dial's design provides adjustable tension independent of the helmet straps. This means you don't have to overtighten the straps to enjoy a snug, comfortable fit. The bike's premium features conclude with a whopping 24 cooling events, keeping you well ventilated on both short and long rides.
