Removable snap-fit visor protects your eyes from the sun, rain and any other ideas Mother Nature might have. Acu Dial system gives you easy, single-handed adjustment for a perfectly comfortable fit.The Giro Indicator Sport Bike Helmet is constructed with in-mold technology that fuses a tough outer microshell to the helmet's EPS foam liner. The fusion process reinforces areas around vents and ribs, making the helmet lighter, cooler and tougher. The Indicator utilizes Giro's Acu Dial system, which combines single-handed adjustment with a full-fit band for a quick, sure fit. This Giro helmet features a snap-fit visor, and 20 vents that allow cool, fresh air in and stale, warm air out.
The Indicator sport helmet comes in Giro's Universal Fit Adult U size (54-61cm), carefully sculpted and size-specific to simplify the fitting process. Giro's Indicator helmet is a lightweight 285 grams, and complies with U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's safety standards for bicycle helmets.

About Giro
Working late nights in his garage, designer/bike racer Jim Gentes created the first lightweight adult cycling helmet in 1985. This helmet performed perfectly during a recent bike accident. I went over the handlebars due to a front tire lockup. This happened so quickly I did not have time to react (ie. attempt to break my fall). Luckily I had my Giro Indicator on when I landed on my head! The shell was scuffed up however it was not cracked. The styrofoam absorbed the impact and did break up as you would expect. Even though I suffered multiple injuries (fractured clavicle, road rash, bruising, etc) I did not even have a headache after the crash.

Good helmet. Fits great, looks great. Bought it today in the local store for $40, thinking that if I find the same helmet sufficiently cheaper on the 'Net I can return it. But for $4 price difference I'd rather support local guys...Customer Review: Good price for a quality helmet

I bought this helmet to go with my newly acquired [used] bike and although the style for my age [20] is to not wear a helmet, it feels good knowing that just in case, I'm protected. The helmet fits great with the easy to use tension dial in the back of the helmet--just rotate it get a snug fit.
No problems with the helmet at all. It's light so it's easy to carry the visor looks great.
