About Giro
Working late nights in his garage, designer/bike racer Jim Gentes created the first lightweight adult cycling helmet in 1985. This helmet is a great choice for those who wouldn't be caught dead sporting the Tour-de-France look. It's comfortable, offers good ventilation and looks good. Definitely a better choice than using a skate helmet which isn't designed for cycling. Customer Review: not bad...

This is a great entry level helmet if your not looking for anything that looks like a normal mtn bike helmet. The only draw back I have found is that yes it has ok air flow but it could have more.Customer Review: my first helmet

The sizing is dead-on and it keeps my head cooler than I expected.
The design is really good. There is plenty of surface area for decals or stickers if you want to customize your helmet.
