I bought 12 to send to Africa with a friend. He's going to Kenya once the political situation calms down. He is sure some friends there will love them since they often have to travel at night. I purchased this crank flashlight along with two others. This one works as well as the others, but is easier to hold (the way it is shaped) and lighter. It definitely works well in power outage situations and walking the dog at night.Customer Review: Works.

It's kinda heavy but I guess it's worth it. The different modes are nice to use and it's easy to crank up. It retains power for a pretty long time if you don't use it after cranking it. This will be my back-up to my back-up in my BOB.Customer Review: wow great item for the price it's worth!

Garrity Power Lite 3 LED: When I first tried this product, I cranked it for 30 seconds and left it on for to see how long it lasted. With a 30 second crack it lasted over four hours using 3 LED. So for the price it's well worth it!!!
