I bought this item on the advice of David Jacoby. I too took it to a nephews birthday party and set it up for the kids. Some of the adults wanted to give it a shot, so we sent the kids in the front yard to play with their balls next to the street.
We all were having a great time until uncle Larry decided to get cute and pulled the football away from cousin Zeb right before he was going to kick up. Old Zeb must have flew twenty feet in the air before he came crashing down on top of the crossbar. Well what happened next will be an embarrassment to our family for generations. Zeb got the stripped pole stuck where the sun don't shine, if you get my drift. Granny Mae passed out and almost fell off the porch. We had to call 911, and after 2 visits to the proctologist, Zeb can finally do the Cha-Cha again. Needless to say this toy was promptly bagged up and set out with Mondays trash.
