Special Note:
For optimal performance, it may be necessary to re-inflate your new Balance Ball once or twice after the initial inflation. Once your chair is assembled and the Balance Ball is inflated, re-check the ball size the next day. If necessary, add additional air and check once more the following day. Your new Balance Ball may need a day or two to "stretch" to its final size (which should then fit perfectly in the base).

I LOVE this chair! I've wanted to get one for such a long time, so I decided to bite the bullet and buy one since I was having such a tough time getting comfy in my regular office chair. It's AWESOME! Everyone in my office LOVES it too! I totally recommend this chair to anyone that's health conscience! You have to give it some time, because if you have poor posture, this chair forces you to sit up straight, so you might experience a little bit of a back ache at first. I love this ball!!!! I have a bulging disk between L4 and L5 and my back would always hurt at the end of the day. Now, I sit on my ball at least half if not all day and it works wonders! I can go home at the end of the day and my back doesn't hurt. It has also helped my recover time when I do do something that hurts it. My disk does not get irritated so easily now because of the way I sit in this chair.
Only problem is that if I sit too long on it, my tail bone hurts.

I have now been using the Gaiam Balance Ball Chair at work for one month. My back & neck pain at the end of the day is gone. Having Scoliosis, Fibromyalgia and bad posture, that says a lot. No more slouching or rigidly trying to sit up straight. It's amazing how you just naturally and comfortably sit straight no matter how much multi-tasking you are doing. I always laughed at my co-worker who had one, but she swore it helped her back. I had a bout with sciatica and had pains shooting down my hip to my leg. Sitting was torture and I was actually trying to type standing up. My co-worker told me to sit on her ballchair. OMG! To my amazement, the chair completely took the pressure off my disk, and I could sit comfortably. Needless to say I purchased my own the next day! I purchased the Gaiam Balance Ball Chair to use at work and I love it ! The first my lower back hurt a little bit, but I think it was because I wasn't used to sitting with perfect posture for so long; after that my back was fine. I got some funny reactions when people saw the chair but most of them liked it once they tried it. In fact, one of my co-workers ordered herself one for work and one for home too! I highly recommend the Gaiam Balance Ball Chair.
