Special Note:
For optimal performance, it may be necessary to re-inflate your new Balance Ball once or twice after the initial inflation. Once your chair is assembled and the Balance Ball is inflated, re-check the ball size the next day. If necessary, add additional air and check once more the following day. Your new Balance Ball may need a day or two to "stretch" to its final size (which should then fit perfectly in the base).

The Gaiam chair has been a great experience and I use it everyday for several hours at my university office. The remarkable outcome of the product is the energized feeling I experience after 2 or 3 hours of desk work. Instead of aches and pains typical of other office chairs, my back feels great, my core muscles are tightened, and my legs feel ready to take on the stairs (from my 4th floor location). One suggestion, armrests. There are many times I would benefit from armests which would prevent my propensity to lean forward on my desk toward my pc screen in my at-rest position.Customer Review: My favorite chair

I teach at two schools. After buying one ball chair for one of my music rooms, I had to splurge and buy a second for the other room. I LOVE these chairs. I'm overweight and my lower back often gripes, but these chairs give me a comfortable sit. I've had them since I first saw them about 10?+ years ago. Still have the same chairs and balls, except I am replacing one of the balls that developed a leak after a couple of my students had a bouncing contest when I had my back turned. This chair is aweseome.
Making sitting all day not feeling like it's flattening your body.
If you are into health and fitness, you NEED one of these.
I am comfortable, and sit with great posture.
I have 2 herniated disks in my neck from an incident about 5 years ago. This chair has not caused any discomfort, and is probably helping ((although I am not a physician).
I have a small counch in my home office as well, to take conference calls on if I need a change of pace.- but i rarely do that.

We bought two of these to sit in when doing puzzles to replace just a loose fitness ball and ordinary chair. We were amazed that they slid in nicely under the table even though we lowered the table a bit as we are both under 5'5". You just don't get tired sitting in a ball chair. You are constantly moving about.
They sell these on the web for as much as $199!!! Gaim sells 'em for $99.
Buy them here and enjoy. You should be under 6 feet - the shorter the better I think. Just blow it up to suit your height.

I love my new chair! It tucks away perfectly into my desk when I'm not using it, freeing up so much space in my office! It's easy to adjust the chair to get the perfect height, and the exercise booklet accompanying the chair is well-photographed and the exercises feel good. Taking the advice of another reviewer, I installed the chair rollers that have the locks on the in the back, so I didn't accidentally kick them and lock the chair. Also, the chair was really easy to put together and it arrived two days after I ordered it.
