We are avid campers and thought we had the whole 'camp kitchen' experience down perfectly! We purchased from a brick and mortar store on sale to free up the picnic tables at our campsites. WOW! We love having running water at camp! You can set up in a few different configurations, but we find it best to maximize our kitchen space and set-up as a long kitchen are as opposed to an 'L' shape. Since we usually set up at the end of our campsite next to a screen house, we sometimes need to add flat rocks or a flat piece of firewood to the end if the campsite slopes, but don't have any problem with the unit being unstable. The main unit has little screw feet to level the unit, but the wire section does not. Not a problem at all. Every campsite is different. We set up inside an REI screen tent (with rain fly) during bad weather and we can still cook even in the worst weather.
As for the sink area, which is the main part, the sinks aren't very deep, but the faucet part does move side to side and up a down a bit. We like to use hot water to wash dishes, so we heat water when we are done cooking, add cold water from the faucet and use a camp cup to rinse the dishes. We find it easier to have the fresh water elevated a bit (see our photo) and the gray water sits lower down. Once you start using, you'll know how much you need to pump and can gauge how much pumping you need to do for the amount of water you need. It's really nice to have a place to wash your hands right at your campsite. We use eco-friendly camping soap and keep a roll of paper towels next to the sink. It comes with two sink plugs and the 's' hooks for hanging your pans and utensils from the top wire behind the sink. We don't want to scratch the sink covers, so we bring a separate cutting board.
Overall a nice unit. We have not had any problems with the legs, but I agree that they seem to be the area that may give out first. It comes with a strap to hold the unit together and make it easier to transport. Since we are car campers, we don't have an issue with the size or weight of the unit.

Camp Gourmet KitchenDo you want the joy of camping without the inconvenience? Check out the GSI Outdoors Camp Gourmet Kitchen. This portable kitchen has a food prep area as well as a cooking center. Plus it's designed to pack compactly for camping, picnicking, and tailgating. The rugged components and contemporary design include a double sink with a pressurized fresh water faucet and wastewater collection system (universal foot air pump and collapsible fold-a-carriers not included). Two detachable cutting boards can be placed vertically to form a windscreen, or you can lock them onto the sinks to create a storage space for the drain hoses and other accessories. The adjustable legs allow you to level your kitchen on unpredictable surfaces. The wire-rack cooking surface can be attached in six different positions, and another wire-rack shelf can be used for storage under the sink. In addition, there is a wire hanging/drying rack over the sink where you can hang a lantern to light up your gourmet efforts.
