The Nextsport Fuzion Scooter will take you to the next level with greater riding performance. Use the 4 wheels, oversized wide deck, and independent front and rear steering to carve deep smooth turns, slide, or air out - it's all up to you. For ages 7 to 11 years old, check out this road-hugging machine. The Fuzion's patented steering technology will increase your fun factor to help dig deep and go.Combining a kick scooter's handlebar with a skateboard's flexible quad-wheel alignment, the Fuzion Asphalt Ultimate Carving Machine lets you easily carve deep smooth turns, slide or air out. Four custom polyurethane wheels hug the road for exceptional handling--turning circles around those traditional two-wheeled models. It also features a wide concave deck, high tech steel frame design, folding/telescoping handle (rising from 29 to 36 inches off the ground, and articulated rear truck. It has a maximum weight capacity of 175 pounds.

You can place your feet anywhere that is comfortable. Most people like a parallel stance with toes facing forward and feet slightly spread forward and back. Learning to kick with either foot, foot brake, and slide turns with either foot, means you will be free to develop your own style of riding.
Turning The Asphalt
The Fuzion Asphalt Ultimate Carving Machine has independent control of the front and rear wheel steering. The front wheels steer the front of the Asphalt when the handle bars are turned, just like a car or bicycle. The back wheels turn the back of the Asphalt when the deck and the handlebars are leaned (banked) from side to side, like a skateboard. By using different combinations of leaning and steering you will quickly be carving and sliding all kinds of turns.
Stopping Techniques
Controlling speed and stopping are basic riding skills that must be learned. You must learn to foot brake and slide turns in order to slow down and stop. Effective braking requires practiced technique, well fitting skate shoes, smooth clean pavement, and room to turn that is free of obstacles, pedestrians, and cars or other traffic. It is very dangerous to ride faster than your ability to turn, slow down and stop. Please exercise good judgment, ride within your skill level, and remain safe.

I got this because it has: 1/Bigger wheels to get over sidewak seams,2/A wider platform (than the Razor ,which I already had), so I can place feet side-by-side and alternate push-off left/right, and 4/ It doesn't cost all that much more than a Razor. I don't do tricks, I just go shopping, etc, but the 'floating' platform helps 'hold the road' on imperfections in the sidewalks. For the most part, this all I need. BUT: 1/The wheels still aren't quite big enough to negotiate steeper sidewalk seams. 2/ The wheels don't run as freely as they might. (The razor actually coasts faster!) For 70 bucks, Fuzion is the best, but if you need a smoother ride on typical city sidewalks, look into either a "Sidewalker/Micro"(12" wheels) or a "Xooter"(8"wheels). Keep in mind they each cost over $200. Customer Review: Well worth the money!!

My 6 and 10 year old LOVE this scooter, they each received one for Christmas! I must say that even my husband has a blast with it! It is extremely durable, my youngest has performed many asphalt-grinding tricks on this and you can hardly see the wear (so far). The handling is unique, being that it has both front and rear pivoting axles, it makes it much easier to turn and maneuver the scooter (great for older children). The only downfall is that the black rubber foot grip/mat on the board is already starting to peel off, but superglue can fix that. The adjustable handlebar is perfect for when friends want to join in the fun, and the best part about the scooter is that it folds flat for storage! A+ from our family! My son has been riding Razor's since he was 4. He is now 9 and got this for Christmas. He loves it. It has taller handlebars than the Razor. It was easy to put together (Mom writing this). We took it to a skate park and it is so smooth. I even rode it and loved it. I want to get one for me to be able to ride with my son. This scooter is what my grandson asked for. I ordered it from Amazon and was delighted with the service...although, I would have liked free shipping. In any case, my grandson was overwhelmed when he opened it this Christmas morning. My son said he has been learning to ride it in just a few days. This four wheel scooter is a lot of fun to use. Large deck and four huge wheels make for a stable ride. The deck swiwels allowing for super tight turns. Still a little big for my 6 yr old but he is really getting the hang of it.
feels a lot more solid than the rinky dink 2 wheel scooters!
