By itself, you can use the quarter pipe for jumps or tricks, but the product's versatility really stands out when attached to other quarter pipes, which connect either side-by-side or back-to-back. Once the pipes are connected, skaters can go as wide as they want, grind across the top edging, or use the pipe for launching. The quarter pipe also connects to FreshPark's other skating products, including a flat launch ramp, a manual pad, and a kicker ramp. Combine them all and you have an unbeatable, portable skate/bike course that sets up virtually anywhere--in a large driveway, on a suburban street, or in an empty parking lot.
The quarter pipe is covered with a weatherproof urethane/ABS riding surface that's maintenance-free, with no painting or treatment required. And unlike wood, the surface won't splinter, rot, warp, or expand with moisture. And thanks to the 10-gauge cold-rolled steel tubing legs and adjustable leg supports, you needn't worry about the pipe collapsing after a particularly challenging trick. This is a great skateboard ramp for kids who are really into skateboarding. If space is an issue, this is a great product. It is very sturdy for any type of skateboarding tricks. I would recommend having an adult present at all times when folding the ramp because it is very heavy. The wheels on the side make it very portable. I am the mother of a 13-year-old boy skater. The quarter pipe from FreshPark works great! He loves it, and so do all of his skater friends! I was hesitant to spend so much money, but so far it has been worth every cent. The quarter pipe is made very well--it is sturdy and safe. Although it is heavy, it is not too heavy to drag out of my garage, onto my driveway, and then back into my garage every day. Although my son loves the city skatepark, this has proven to be a good substitute when I cannot drive him there. I highly recommend this.(I have never tried to fold it up, so I cannot comment on the ease of that.)Customer Review: Freshpark

Easy to assemble and sturdy, but the incline at the top of the ramp is not sufficiently steep so the the wheels engage too early. The curve should be much more pronounced.Customer Review: looks awesome and works great in their video

I am 11 years old and a hardcore skater. I have been begging my parents to buy me this for quite some time, and they finally said that if I do good in my spanish lessons, then I can get it. I have seen their video on their website and it works great. Plus, the fact that it has detachable wheels and it folds up makes it probably the best quarter pipe on the market. The only drawback is the cost... I can understand why it is that much, but if you buy 2 and make a half pipe, that's [...]bucks. I highly reccomend this, but ONLY for skaters who have been to an actual skatepark, and have experienced a quarter pipe AND a half pipe.
P.S. I dont think this is made for BMX, so you probably shouldn't try going on it with your BXM bike.
