I purchased this pogo stick for my two boys, ages 5 & 7, because they kept borrowing a neighbor's! I would not have thought that a pogo stick would get used that much, but they both use it a lot. Since getting their own their skills have improved quickly. It is a favorite toy at the bus stop because it's easy to grab and keeps them occupied while waiting for the bus. We have had ours only about a month so I can't really rate it's durability but my neighbor's is at least a year old and still works fine except that the cap/cover on the top came off (cosmetic only). I did see that you are supposed to lubricate it regularly so we will try to do that... I would definitely purchase it again and may consider a second one.
