Sports reviews of FlipKlip Treadmill Book Holder 1-PakCustomer Review: great for workout! Sport shop rating: 4 Stars
perfect for holding the pages back when im on the cardio machines at the gym!
Customer Review: Not very easy to use on larger books. Sport shop rating: 3 Stars
The FlipKlip is a good idea, and probably it works well on paperbacks and smaller books. But I bought it to hold open textbooks when I'm studying, and there are a couple of drawbacks. For one, it is not easy to turn pages, because the FlipKlip is much closer to the insides of the pages than the edges. For another, I often like to look back a page or two to find something, and it is definitely not easy to do that.
I don't have any hard feelings about the FlipKlip, and I'll probably use mine when I'm reading paperbacks or magazines or small books. But for larger books, one of those bean bag thingies that you just lay across the pages would work much better.
Customer Review: Not bad, not great Sport shop rating: 3 Stars
I have used my flip clip a couple of times, but it is so flimsy, I am afraid to break it. So far I have used it on large books, and so I use it to hold one side of the book open, because it won't fit on the top or bottom. Time will tell how long this will last. As I said, it feels pretty flimsy. I may just end up buying one of those large clear book holders, however cumbersome it may be to carry to/from the gym.
Customer Review: somewhat annoying Sport shop rating: 3 Stars
Although it works reasonably well on most books, not so well on very thick paperbacks. Also, after you turn a page and set the clip, it needs to be lifted again to see some of the words that the clip part hides. It would be better if they could have made this part clear somehow.
Customer Review: Misrepresented Sport shop rating: 3 Stars
This product should not be advertised as a "treadmill" book holder, because no hardware or mounting system is provided to attach it to a treadmill. It holds the pages open, but you still have to hold the book.
