Sports reviews of FlipKlip Treadmill Book Holder 1-Pak

Customer Review: Great Item!
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I love this little item! It is lightweight and really holds books well including drawing books and song books. It is a minor inconvenience to have to turn the pages by flipping the arms out and back but no big deal, considering how much pleasure it gives you! It holds the book open so you can read without losing your page and without using your hands to hold it open. Paperbacks work great with this and we all know how tiring it can get to hold a paperback open for long periods of time. Goes anywhere and holds a book together for moving around by putting it on the side of the book like a clamp. Would be great for someone handicapped and can't open a book too. I think students would like it for homework. I love it for cookbooks as well! I couldn't be happier with this one.

Customer Review: Best $8 I ever spent.
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

This is a little lifesaver. Reading books was a pain before on ellipticals (if you were lucky, the gym had one, or the machine itself had little nubs that wouldn't fit thicker volumes), but now it's ridiculously easy. I thought it would be difficult to turn the pages, but it's a breeze -- the gray plastic grips just enough to keep the page down, but not enough to make page turning cumbersome. I've tried it on books of all shapes and sizes, paperback and hardcover alike, and so far have encountered no problems except that with bigger books, you have to adjust the clip a little to the left or right as you get to the end of the book. Overall, though, I highly recommend it and can barely workout without it.

Customer Review: excellent for the gym
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I like to read while on the treadmill/eliptical/bike/etc at the gym and have tried several other solutions; Magic Book Clip, Thumb Thing, homemade wire+binding clip. This is the best and I've been using it for over a year, four or five times a week.

Is it perfect? No. Beginning or end of a thick paperback gets "unbalanced," new hardcovers aren't held as flat as you'd like, some softer pages on thick books must be carefully turned to avoid tearing (removing part of the pads helps). That said, the FlipKlip is much better the competition and works well. A little pricey (I went for the 2:1 special, a little better) but, overall, worth the money.

Customer Review: Exactly what I wanted
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I use it for my treadmill, and just keep it waiting for me in the cup holder. Holds my books perfectly, where I can then rest them on a "lip" on the treadmill where I can read hands free. I've used an "average" size book, and also a large, heavy book, not quite "coffee table" size, and it worked just as well.

The only negative, per se, is having to pop up the one side when it's time to turn the page. The page will easily slip under the other side without having to pop it open. A little difficult when walking on the treadmill, but it does't have anything to do with the product itself. Also, a great price.

Customer Review: FlipKlip Treadmill Book Holder
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I love the FlipKlip, I use it all the time at the gym to read while I do the treatmill...which can be boring, as you all know. With the Klip I do not loose my place. I have been asked many times at the gym, where I got it. It also helps me with holding a hard back book while reading at home or in the car because I have bad thumbs, Arthritis pains them from holding big books. I am sorry I didn't buy more, however I am thinking of ordering more for Christmas gifts for my friends.
