This thing on the highest setting is like a Q-Beam. Soooooo bright. I love it.

This light is truely amazing. This is my second LED light but my first Fenix. My last one was a cheap Nebo flashlight, it was a piece of junk and broke soon after arrivel. So for my next light I wanted something that would last. I made the investment and got this. I won't go about repeating the specs and modes. But I will say any pictures you have seen on this DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE!. This would also work as a weapons light. In fact the strobe disoreinents me up to 15 yards. Great of a home defense light to be mounted on a light recoiling rifle, I wouldn't put it on a shotgun. It is very slender as well it can be put in its sheath and slipped in the pocket.The tail switch is recessed and keeps it from turning on in the pocket. This will be apart of my edc for years. As always if I have any problems I will update this review.
Update 11/29/09:
I still edc this light and still love it haven't had one problem and I really thrash on things I own. The sheath has started to fall apart and I'm going to have to replace it. Other than that it is perfect. Maybe a pocket clip would be nice. It still amazes people when I whip it out.
Update 7/25/10
Well my first problem with this light. When I turn it on in turbo it flickers really bad. So I looked it up and FENIX'S WARRANTY REST WITH THE DEALER NOT FENIX. That's suck but I sent it back to the dealer .... I don't expect a problem. This however does mean I'm bringing it down to 4 stars.

I sent it back and had not issues(Please note: I bought this from YourCornerStore not Amazon). Replaced it with a 4 Sevens Preon 2.
If your thinking of getting this light it has been replaced by the LD20! Get that one!
