Description of Fenix L2D 6 Level High Performance Cree LED Flashlight (Black)The Fenix L1D CE is digitally regulated and digitally controlled. It has two output modes which produce a total of six levels of output. These modes not only allow the user to select the best compromise between brightness and runtime for any given task, but they also help to aid in an emergency. The L1D CE does all this and still retains a very compact size. If you're looking for solid reliability, digitally-regulated brightness, and compact size, this Fenix is for you.
Sports reviews of Fenix L2D 6 Level High Performance Cree LED Flashlight (Black)Customer Review: One of the very best 2 AA cell flashlights Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I have owned many small maglight style flashlights. While a little more money than the others, the Fenix L2D is well worth it. The beam is fixed but has a smooth transition from center out. This replaces a Coast LL7848 as my everyday carry torch. The LL7848 is also a fine light but not as bright as the L2D and will remain in the toolbox. I appreciate the ability to adjust light levels to save battery life when the full brightness is not necessary.
Customer Review: Nothing Comes Close - Simply The Best Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
So bright you cannot look at the beam, 2x AA battery and runs at full power longer than any other light I have used. I have both the L2D & L1D. Keep one at work, home, and in each glove box.
These lights are absolutely worth every cent. You will not be disapointed, better than Surefire and use off the shelf battery to boot.
I have had several months of daily use with no issues.
Customer Review: Nice Flashlight. Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
This has to be the brightest flashlight I have ever owned. The amount if light coming from something so compact is amazing. Bought it because of its great reviews and I am not disappointed. It has a lot of different modes and is pretty well built. If I really had to fault one thing is that the batteries rattle a little bit in there and I mean a little bit, not enough to deduct a star though.
Customer Review: Not too bright . . . Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
Perfect flashlight. Many complain that the Cree lamps are too bright . . . imagine that! Well this flashlight has several settings from the "brightness" of a 2 aa mag light to something like 180 lumens, brighter than some older cars' headlights. Have had it now about a year, been dropped in water several times, and continues to work perfectly with eneloop rechargeables.
Customer Review: Great Light! Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I own many flashlights and use them in my job. One of my favorites is the sure fire Z2, which is a great flashlight and i use it often. This new Fenix with the Cree LED is a wonder!! Great throw, increased lumens all on 2AAs. No messing around with expensive CR123 batteries. I highly reccomend this flashlight..its moved into my #1 spot for daily use!
