This 500 chip set it ideal for home games of up to 10 players.
The chip weight is great and quality is good. Some chips have a small nub remaining from the manufacturing process, but if they bother you, they're easy to remove. The edge striping is a nice feature not found in similar discounted sets, but the white chips with blue stripes are easy to mix up with the blue chips with white stripes when they are stacked.
The playing cards that come with the set are not of very high quality and get creased quite easily. I bought new cards after only one night of playing with them.
The overall weight of the set is shocking, which is why shipping charges for comparable sets is typically more than the cost of the set itself. Amazon super saver shipping was the key factor in my decision to get this set over similar sets from other discount poker Web sites.

These are great, and I think anyone who's interested in a poker chip set for a regular poker game will NOT be disappointed with this set. The chips are standard weight, but for some reason I feel like they should sound more like clay when you drop them on each other. I wonder if I've been out of the casino too long but clay chips should clunk a bit more. Instead they have a plastic sound, light and airy, not thud-like. Anyway I find the sound pretty noticeable but the chips are painted well and are holding up.
The case is a little flimsier than expected for such weighty contents, but I wasn't buying a case, I was buying CHIPS. Just don't expect to lug them around in the case a lot or toss it around very much because it doesn't seem like it will hold up too well. The insides are pretty thin.
Overall a good chip set, for the price you won't be disappointed.

Best bang for your buck - for less than $40 free ship @ 500 good quality clay chips + nice case: it's ALL IN or fold em' Chips look pretty good, nice weighted feel. Comes complete set as described and pictured.
FYI: This is not a $150 "quality chip set" more like $75 value and you're definitely getting your money's worth at half the price on amazon.

I bought a different poker chip set at a discount store 2 years ago for about $45 and it was horrible, fake light weight chips made of plastic and was incomplete.

This is a nice poker set for both serious and not so serious poker players. The chips are pretty nice, but you can see mold marks on some of them, so they arent perfect. However, I dont know who that would matter to, it didn't matter to me. The case seems like its strong, but the hinges seem to not quite open all the way. The hinges on the case are my biggest gripe, but they aren't terrible. Also the velvet like texture inside the case rubs off a bit. All in all, though, the chips are weighted nicely, the whole set seems sturdy, its incredibly heavy. For the price, you cant go wrong. Its fun to play with, and easy to clean up, and its not worth buying a more expensive one, this one is good.Customer Review: Mediocre chips but a great value

Bottom line, a great value.
This is about the cheapest set of chips you can buy that will allow you to play a game with 10 other players; with chips that have a good weight and stack well.
They are cheap chips though. They have imprefections in the printing, but again great for 7 cents each. (real clay goes for $1 each)
The cards are garbage but your buying the set for the cheap case and chips.
My case arrived undented but other reviews say it was dented.

I was happy though since this is the standard.
