I bought this to do Pull/Chin ups and some ab work. Put it together in ~15 min, instructions were clear and all parts needed were in the box. I guess they fixed the screw problem since all the parts were right. I put it up on a closet door and it works really well. Takes a sec to put up and take down. Feels very stable and the multiple hand grips are very useful. The padding feels good too. Lastly, I put a couple layers of duct tape over the wooden part so my door wouldn't get scuffed, just as a precaution from some of the reviews. Great buy at a great price I'd say.Customer Review: Better than expected

I was somewhat skeptical about buying this item after reading some of the more negative reviews, but I ended up taking a gamble. Boy, am I glad I did. At 6'1 and 225 lbs, this bar holds my weight just fine. The entire bar took about 5 minutes to assemble and about 10 seconds to put up in a doorway.
After reading about how some folks had the bar fall down on them, I'd probably recommend giving it a couple of test tugs and visually inspecing the seat on the opposite side of the door.
Well worth the money.

Holds my 220 lbs of couch potatoes with ease. One thing I must warn you, there are no fasteners for it to hold to the doorway aside from leverage. I made the mistake of trying to center it using one hand while talking on the phone with the other and it fell down and almost gave me a shiner, but that was my own dumb fault. Once you put weight on it it isn't going anywhere. Alot better product than a similar one my friend bought for around the same price. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a cheap way to work out.Customer Review: great in all aspects

Everlast Multi Function Chinning Bar EXCELLENT product in all aspects, easy to put together, easy to install, maybe not so easy to use at first, but that is because one must build the stamina for the pull up/chin up. Great to keep installed at all times or to move to other doors in your home. I love it because I get to practice anytime of day on my chin ups and keep getting better each time, however the best part is the price!!!!!Customer Review: Nice product, easy assembly

The people complaining about the assembly obviously don't know how to use a socket wrench. All the parts are there, and they all fit in easy. The instruction manual doesn't tell you that you need a socket wrench, though.
Use a 13/32" and a 7/16" bit, one for the screw and one for the nut.
After the assembly, it's smooth sailing. Incredible product, very diverse. Beats the heck out of those cheap bars with the big chunks of metal you have to screw into your wall and mess up your house with.
