First off, any of these removable, door-frame mounted bars are a great buy. Leave it hanging in your doorway and just be willing to knock out a set when you walk by. You will notice a difference.
I bought this after seeing the infomercials for the Iron Gym. The extra "U" shaped grips have are worth the $3 alone. Very solid build and very convenient for those times when going to the gym is just not possible. Don't underestimate a simple pull-up's value as an exercise. This thing is awesome for push-ups, too. Despite a limited range of movement, using this for dips will give you more than an adequate burn in the triceps. Next to useless for crunches and sit-ups, though (just not stable enough).

This item arrived with very good instructions and the appropriate hardware. It was easy to assemble and works better than I expected. I am thoroughly satisfied with this product. As a side note, the instruction sheet included warranty information and a phone number to contact customer service in case there were any missing parts. This product came in an Everlast box and was promptly shipped. I don't understand why people who buy products outside of Amazon can criticize those products here - this is to review not only the product, but the product supplied by Amazon - the Amazon "experience." Don't be misled, this is a good product that has all the necessary consumer support to ensure a positive experience.Customer Review: Great bar

I looked at several different chinning bars and this seemed to be the best for the money. I've owned it now for two weeks with no disappointments. It came with all the necessary bolts, nuts, and washers. The directions are very simple if you have any experience with reading/looking at pictures. Be sure to tighten bolts with tools (not your hands as others seem to have tried). The only caveat is that the bar doesn't fit all door frames. I tried 3 different doors in my apt. before I found one that fit, but as long as you have several door options you should be just fine. Also you should put some type of clothe between the bar and frame to avoid potential scratching/denting. Highly recommended!Customer Review: Definitely worth the money

This is a great product because it allows you to quickly get a mini workout at home, with little equipment. It hangs over the doorway, does not mess up your trim boards, and is very sturdy. The padded grips allow several different hand positions during pull ups and push ups. Sit ups...ehh, its not the greatest for, it will hold your feet for you, but nothing great. My only complaint was that they included some wrong bolts and washers to attach the wood piece, so I went to Lowe's and bought 2 bolts for $0.30. I love it, I can get a couple sets of pull-ups or push-ups in during a commercial and if I can't make it to the gym, I don't feel as guilty.Customer Review: Measure your door first!!

Okay, so I got the pull up bar and LOVE it!!! I have seen results almost right away and have been very satisfied with it thus far.
Two suggestions though...
1. Make sure if you purchase this item that it will fit in your door frame. I live in San Francisco and live in an old building in San Francisco and the pull bar does not fit in all my door frames. It does fit in one, but not all of them.
2. Have someone who has a power drill available to help assemble. Even without the power it would be nearly impossible to put this together alone.
