I've tried many of the gel packs and found these to be the best for what I need and IMHO, taste considerable better than much of what's out there. I prefer the cola flavored, like drinking Coke syrup, which, with some water is not half bad! I'm a mountain bike rider and we do a lot of cross country including climbing. They provide fast fuel when needed and really keep my legs feeling strong. I find I get a great sustained energy from them if I take the pack with about 1/2 a bottle of water. These packs are great, highly recommend.

This gel takes maltodextrins, glucose, fructose and vitamins and combines them with branch chain amino acids to give you immediate energy while sustaining longer-term energy levels. The result is improved muscular tone, decreased sense of fatigue and heightened energy. Time-released for greater endurance. Won"t increase glycemic levels or cause reactive hypoglycemia.
