I'm 5'3" and have always had problems with the equipment at 24hour fitness being too big for me. I feel like a munchkin with my feet dangling from equipment and can't get good stability. This is the first piece of equipment I have found where my feet actually hit the floor! They still aren't flat against the floor but hey, I'll take what I can get. The directions for assembly are very easy to understand. The only issue I had was that the nuts/bolts where labeled with a different letter on the package they came in then there in were in the directions- but luckily both the package and the directions have the measurements so it's easy to figure out. Assembly took me approximately 45 minutes (1 episode of Picket Fences running off of Hulu in the background). I didn't feel the urge to swear once. The exercises that you can do with this set is varied and can easily address all of the major muscle groups. The adjustability of the unit gives a large range of difficulty so you can start off pretty easy and work up to where you want to be. The sliding mechanism isn't completely smooth but I think if I were to grease or oil the bars that would address that issue. Even with the little bit of stickiness, it still does everything it should do. I HIGHLY recommend this purchase. I was able to get it for $150 on a "Today's Deals" but would still recommend it at the current asking price of $229. Oh, and the fact that it folds up to be out of the way is great. It's folded footprint is about 3' by 1.5'. I have it set up in my home office and doesn't make the room feel claustrophobic...even when it's unfolded.
