Sports reviews of Elmo TrikeCustomer Review: Better than I thought Sport shop rating: 4 Stars
I thought that this product would only last a little while but it is great. The handle has held up, i thought that would be the first to go. The only thing I do not like about it is that "singing" Elmo gets REALLY annoying after the 200th time. But my daughter loves it. Just be ready to push often! :)
Easy assembly too!

Loved it except only one of the rwo bottons on the dashboard worked -- had to send it back. Bummer for the little kid.
Customer Review: Trike is cute, but it looks like it is put together cheap Sport shop rating: 3 Stars
My son has not gotten this trike yet, but we put it together to make sure all the parts were there, it is a cute trike but it looks like it was put togehter cheap. The welds look like they were done by a drunk, and the same for the wheels. The wheels are hard plastic, which im fine with, but the wheels were not put on straight and as they turn you can see where they are not properly put on. For the price I paided I'm not too upset, but I would not pay the same price for it again.
Customer Review: Hard to pedal! Sport shop rating: 2 Stars
This is a very cute trike and my daughter was super excited to receive it last Christmas. However the front wheel rubs in the fork, and it seems to be designed that way. There is no way to adjust it. It was a nice feature when I was pushing her around on it, but she is 3 now and strong and still can't pedal this thing easily. She can ride all her friends' trikes with no problem, but this thing is designed so it won't roll away down the driveway. So as soon as she stops pedaling it stops dead. Also, it sits quite tall, it's recoomended for 1 year olds, but mine couldn't reach the pedals until recently, and she is very tall! All in all, it's cute when you the child is little and you have to push them with the handle, but BAD when they try to ride on their own. My daughter is getting a different tricycle this year!
Customer Review: Piece of garbage Sport shop rating: 1 Stars
I completely agree with the review from "mommy of 2". I wish she had posted that before I bought this piece of garbage. I wish I had bought Fisher-Price Rock, Roll 'N Ride Trike instead.
I bought this for my daughter's 2nd birthday one month ago. She, and all the other 2 year olds at her birthday party loved it. Other parents said that they wanted to get one for their 2 year old. But there is no volume control or off button for the annoying music. Only 2 song choices, depending on if you hit the right arrow or the left, and one song is very long. The music got annoying very quickly.
After a few days of this tricycle sitting in our living room with 2 toddlers playing on it. We noticed that it tipped very easily. So on top of the annoying music, now we had crying toddlers.
Then yesterday, I took it outside for the first time. I put my daughter on it and pushed her 2 blocks down the street to the baby-sitter's house. I thought she would enjoy the ride. Well... she did for most of the ride. But it squeaked loudly the duration of the trip. It almost tipped over while I pushed it with the long handle several times. And I couldn't steer the bike with the handle. I had to bend over repeatedly to grab the handlebars to steer it, which defeated the purpose of buying a trike with a long handle for parents.
The worse part was that there isn't a place for her to set her feet except on the pedals which she can't really reach. So when I stopped the trike, the pedals smacked her in the foot, and she got hurt several times. When I got home, I threw it in the garage.
It's also a pain to assemble, and I usually enjoy assembling complicated things.
Don't waste your money on this junk. I would give it 0 stars if possible.
