If injury is more on the wrist, put the wide side at bottom before applying. Thumb goes through hole and secures with straps. 1Ó X 16Ó - 2Ó X 14Ó *2 straps: 1 strap is 1"x16" and the other is 2"x14". Gel size: 10"x6.5" has hole in center of gel. Product does not have a removable cover.

I ordered the largest one I could get and it is still pretty small for my arm would be a great product for smaller elbow.
