I've been using this thermos nearly everyday for a month now and I love it. I can verify that it is spill proof and that it does keep your hot drinks quite hot for at least 9 hours (still steaming). Don't expect it to fit in your car's cup holders as this was meant more for effective transportation and not sipping on the go.
For best results, fill the thermos with hot water before use and let it stand. I usually fill mine up with hot water in the evenings (while I'm getting the coffee maker ready for the next morning) and leave it over night.
I highly recommend this thermos and would proudly give it as a gift to any coffee drinker.

This is NOT A MUG! It is on the other hand a thermos.. and a darn good one, in fact one of the best. There isn't anything bad i can say about this product. I made tea in the morning (6:30am) and poured cup after cup of steaming hot tea all day long (till 7pm). The size is just right for my day to day as well as my winter snow-sports pleasures. Just bought one of these to take frozen smoothies to work in. Kept the smoothie icy for 15 hours. Brewed up a smoothie at night at 9:00PM (I'd left the stopper out and put it in the freezer for an hour before). Left it in the refrigerator overnight. Sat it on my desk from 6:00AM till noon. When I had it for lunch, the smoothie was still as frozen a consistency as when I made it. Great product......Customer Review: Hot coffee

The Thermos E5 travel mug is the best product I've ever had for carrying hot coffee. I usually pre-heat it with hot water before I put the coffee in and it will keep the coffee hot practically all day. The thermos is very well constructed and I use it while camping or driving on road trips. It's the second one I've owned and I think it is one of the best values for the money.Customer Review: Does the job good

Bought this thing from a store 4 months back...Been using this almost every day, and it keeps the coffee piping hot for atleast 10 hours, (havent used beyond that). I always prime it with some hot water before pouring coffee in it. If you open the tumbler frequently, i would say, the coffee wont be piping hot at 10 hours, it would still be hot enough to enjoy. Recommended!
