After a couple of weeks of desperate attempts I finally figured out how to make this ball spin. Forget about the cord. It can actually get stuck inside the ball. Using your thumb or your palm is enough. And when you will figure out how to accelerate the spin it's a lot of fun and it is hard to hold the spinning ball for a long time. I am using it to recuperate after a wrist surgery and it seems to help a lot.Customer Review: Really Cool Product!

At first when I got this gyroscope, I couldn't get it to work. I got it to activate but couldn't get the right hand movement. I got really frustrated. Eventually, I got it and boy was I glad! You don't even have to swing it violently for it to really get going. I use it as a toy but it will probably help me in baseball as I am a pitcher. As long as you have a little patience, you will love this product!Customer Review: This makes exercise fun

It took awhile to get the hang of keeping it spinning, but once I did I found that it was actually fun to use. I was even more pleased that I experienced an almost immediate improvement in the pain I had been experiencing at the base of one of my thumbs for the past 6 months, a symptom apparently similar to carpal tunnel syndrome. the powerball works. initially i thought that i cannot get the sync, but i looked up at youtube and other videos online. they were very useful. i am happy that i finally got this running and i can focus on my grip in tennis. i have poor grip and i can tell the difference right away. for people who were not able to get this running, try and try.. it takes a specific motion that gets it in motion.Customer Review: buy it

I love this thing! At first I thought it was the most useless, dumbest thing ever, as did many people who gave it 1 star, but once you figure out how to handle it it is amazing. Worth way more than $20 to me. I still had doubts that it was working until I realized my forearms getting noticeably stronger. I recommend it to all my musician friends. Just ordered the foot strap too!
