This lil ball is a versatile tool in workout and dexterity. To start, the little red string they offer as a "starting aid," is useless -- learn to strike your thumb across it twice. Starting speed is everything.I use the dynaflex to warm up my hands before piano, or to complete part of my normal exercise routine. It's completely erased the early stages of carpal tunnels in my right hand.
I've learned to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches one-handed while spinning this thing. It becomes a challenge and a game.

The seller's website is full of gimmicky health junk. Ignore that. I have this, and it's good honest exercise.
In short; it's a simple concept put to good use cleverly. Don't drop it, don't touch the inside, and don't use it where noise might annoy others. It sounds, as the seller describes it, like a jet engine. The noise is moderate, though, and not likely to dissuade you from cranking it up to hyperspeed and competing with your friends.
It's addictive, fun, and good exercise. Buy one.

This is something I have never seen in my life and one day a co-worker brought one in who is a climber. Told me to try it out, he exmaple the concept, and I gave it a whirl "literally". Get it? Well anyway, this product works amazingly well on your wrists, forearm, and a little bit of your tri's and bi's depending on where you stabilize your arm. It is a little hard to get started but after a few times of doing it, you will be able to start it with out the rope. Just give it some time and don't give up. This gyro was a great investment! It has helped me with the strength in my hands, wrists, forearms and shoulders. I also used it to help rehab an injured wrist. At first I was confused on how to get it started so I called the 800 number on the ball. One of their friendly customer service reps walked me through the process and helped me get it started over the phone. Since then I can start it with great consistency. This took a good hour to understand and operate. Watch the videos and use the string if needed. Eventually you should be able to move the ball on your hand to get it started. Once you get it going, you can obtain higher rpms by strong and slow rotations of the wrist. It is not a "party toy" - this thing can seriously make your arms sore for days. Other gyro balls have counters on them, so you can see your progress. I plan on buying more of these and give to friends as gifts.
