Description of DynaFlex Docking Station 12095 Power Starter for Gyro Wrist Exercisers

With a push of the button the new PowerDock Docking Station activates the gyro hand exercisers! It just takes a few seconds to get the gyro up to operating speed.
Need to activate your DynaFlex gyro hand exerciser? Turn to the DynaFlex PowerDock docking station, which gets the gyro up to operating speed with the push of a button. The PowerDock is compact and easy to use: just put it on your desk, table, or any other place you like to keep your gyro. Once you activate the PowerDock, it takes only a few seconds to work. The docking station also offers a convenient place to securely hold your gyro while not in use. The PowerDock--which requires two AA batteries--is compatible with the following gyro exerciser models: the PowerBall (amber and blue), the Pro Plus, the Pro, the TourGrip, and the ProGrip.

Customer Review: easier starts for gyro
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

Someone gave me a basic dynaflex pro wrist exerciser for Christmas. It came with a shoelace to get it started. I found the shoelace tedious to wind. Also it didn't always get the gyro spinning fast enough. So I was having a lot of trouble figuring out how to use the gyro.

There are a bunch of videos on YouTube about other ways to get the gyro started, and I didn't get any of those to work at all.

With the Docking station power starter, all you need to do is hold down the button long enough, and you have the gyro working.

So I'd recommend that if you're getting started with a gyro exerciser, you spend the extra money to get the docking station.

Customer Review: Great Value & Very Helpful Tool
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I had been using the Dynaflex as part of my physical therapy to work on grip and arm strength. But therapy ended and I wanted to continue using the product. However, it is difficult to 'launch' it via the old string and pull method. The docking station makes it so much easier! Just set it on there, make sure it's lined up properly, push the button, wait maybe 30 seconds, take it off & go. Runs on 2 AA batteries so it's always good to go at a moment's notice. Best investment ever, especially because I have somewhat limited mobility in my hands. And the price here is the best I found: other places charge over $20 and up.

Customer Review: Great tool for all Dynaflex Gyros
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

This gyro accessory has been great in helping me start my gyro. I can start my unit with the string but those can get damaged or lost. With the docking station I have the convenience of never fumbeling around with the string and also it gives the gyro somewhere to be stored when it is not in use. The problem some people have with this item is that they think it starts the gyro automatically. What it does do is the job of the string. So needless to say you still have to rock it to get the speed up and activate the gyro.

Customer Review: DynaFlex Docking Station Review - J. Mike Larsen
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I ordered two docking stations because I thought it would be nice to have two in case one brakes down. I have been pleasently surprise at how well they perform. It took me awhile to master the DynaFlex and keep it going but now with the docking stations it starts right up. I could never get the DyanFlex going with my hand or thumb like the vedio shows and I could see that the starting it all the time with the little shoe string was going to wear out fast so the docking stations do the trick.

Customer Review: Great For Beginners
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

So easy to use. I bought the Dyna-Flex primarily for my 12 year old son for baseball training. After the lace broke we had no success starting the ball using other methods shown on the internet. With the docking station he was able to start it the first time and it has continued to work every time we try it. Many people also have a problem using the lace. I can say without a doubt that the docking station is much easier.
