Purchased this product to dry golf shoes and it gets the job done. Well designed and constructed...has a variable timer (up to 3 hours, I believe) so there's no need to remember to turn it off. Heats to body temperature so it doesn't damage shoes. Customer Review: disappointment

I expected warm air would be emited from the boot dryer and was disappointed when it did not. I take responsibility for not doing more research prior to purchase. My previous boot dryer emited warm air for faster drying.

I live and run in Florida. At the end of a long run on a hot day, my shoes are completely soaked. They used to take at least 2 days to dry out. A new pair of shoes would smell horrible in just a couple of weeks. Now I put my shoes onto the Shoedry after every run and they're completely dry in 2 hours. Better than that, they don't smell even after a couple of months. As long as it holds up for a reasonable period of time, say 2-3 years, I'll be completely satisfied.
