This chess set let me meet many new friends. I play it with my dad a lot. I started playing chess when I was three. I enjoy playing it. I go to after school chess club and I learn with a guy who was the champion of the state. He is my neighbor. Just telling I like this chess set a lot.

The best part is you can put the cover on in the middle of a game and come back where you left off. We took this on a trip to Thailand, and it was really handy for playing on the plane. We even brought it in the pool and it floated! A couple of the magnets have come loose, but nothing some super glue won't fix.Customer Review: Durability

A great travel set. A friend has had one for over 30 years. The black squares rub off over time and I've had the glue that holds the magnets melt when I've left the set in a hot car but still the most convenient and safest (least likely to lose a piece) travel set I've owned.Customer Review: great set
