A great program for 4 Days (1/7/05-1/10/05) & I'm a big full-throttle hockey fan (Red Wings, Flyers & the Bruins), this 4-Double Sided Disc set with over 16 hours of bouns material: 4 Feature-Length Programs with In-Depth Interviews: Hockeytown -'97 Stanley Cup Champions, Return of Hockeytown - '98 Stanley Cup Champions, Red Alert: Hockeytown 3 - '02 Stanley Cup Champions & Moments of Magic: A Celebration of Hockeytown,
5 Feature-Length Original TV Programs has chosen by the Fans: Regular Season 3/27/97 & 5/31/02 Game 7 Western Conference Finals vs. Avalanche, 5/16/96 Game 7 Western Conference Semifinals vs. Blues, 6/7/97 Game 4 Stanley Cup Finals vs. Flyers & 6/8/02 Game 3 Stanley Cup Finals vs. Hurricanes, Standard Version of the Program & also availiable with Dolby Digital 5.1 so you can hear very loud at your own living room! In a long dark seasons how the Red Wings never the cup in 42 Years ('55-'97), but things change by the team & the city of Detroit as they get the hands of the Stanley Cup by sweeping the Flyers in '97 for the first time. A year later they did it again by sweeping the Captitals for the second straight in a row. 4 years later, 5 Games of the Stanley Cup Finals vs. Hurricanes. In game 3 this will be a longest game ever in Playoff history rank third place all-time over 6 straight hours (about after 8:15pm to after 1:15am), until the Morning when Igor "The Professor" Larionov (#8) gets the game winner in Triple Overtime (6th Period), and I watched it on DVD for over 3 Hours without the advertisements. On the '97 Original Season vs. Avalanche just before the playoffs; a lot of big fight & unbelivable chaos with close to 3 hours on cable TV (Side B - Disc 4), but with the DVD without the advertisements close to 145 Minutes. Darren McCarty (#25) & gets the game winner in overtime & confronted Claude Leminux in the First Period (#22) for hitting Kris Draper (#33) in the '96 Western Conference Finals. In 5/16/96 - Game 7 Western Conference Semifinals, Steve Yzerman (#19) a game winning Double Overtime goal (5th Period) 1-0 over the Blues. The NHL Original Six Series collection is a true treasure of NHL's 6 different teams in the early century, program highlights & much more. I hope the NHL have the new series very soon, including: Blackhawks, Bruins, Rangers, Maple Leafs & the Canadians. And there's one question to asked, is the Flyers would be on DVD upcoming future?
