Sports reviews of Delta Leonardo Single Bicycle Rack with Da Vinci Tire TrayCustomer Review: Works well, looks good. Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
With the addition of a 4th bike to my apartment, I needed to get serious about saving space. These racks turned out to be the answer. I just mounted them into the studs and the bikes fit into previously impossible spaces. I even staggered their height in one place such that they could be on adjacent studs 16" apart. Best racks I've had at a great price.
BTW, complaints about the trays being plastic are silly. Making them metal would just have added cost, and they're mounted far enough away from the hook that their material change isn't noticeable. I do recommend drilling them out at the pilot holes and mounting with screws, though. The adhesive rips the paint right off the wall, plus screws force you to mount to the stud and thus stay on the same plane. Don't over tighten, though, or they'll crack.
Customer Review: Man It's Not Easy Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I have a hybrid bike. I decided to mount this with my back wheels resting on the floor because I didn't want to go hunting for a stud and drilling holes in my wall. Let me tell you, it's not an easy thing to do alone. I finally got it down after a few grunts and tries but it still requires me to lift the bike up to get it into the hook and have everything fit snuggly. I have no doubt it could support a hanging bike though, it is similar in quality to most bike hangers I've seen at stores.
Customer Review: New design DOES work with MTN bikes Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
Ignore the old reviews saying it won't work with mountain bikes. This hook rack works great, and I have hung both my roadbike with 700c wheels and my Mountain Bike with 2.5 inch tires - both are great. It is evident that the product I got is a new design, since it isn't quite like the picture. Check for pics I posted to see the new wider hook design.
Customer Review: Great product Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I was looking for a way to put away my bikes for winter but couldn't find an affordable device, this is a very sturdy and simple unit that can be quickly installed under ten minutes, just be sure to measure how high you can elevate your bike so you don't install the hook out of your reach.
Customer Review: Form and Function Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
These racks are very simple and perform just right. They hold the rim just right, and the bike goes in and out with the right finesse. Oh, and they are an appealing design. I wouldn't think twice about hanging them in an apartment/flat.
