This card case has proven to be the most valuable purchase I have made from Ellusionist, next to the cards that they protect. It has prolonged the life span of my cards significantly.
I bought four Ghost decks and four Tiger decks two months ago and gave the Tiger decks to my friend. At the same time, I ordered this card case for myself. Since then, I have definitely noticed the difference in quality and life span of my cards compared to his. His cards get bent out of shape and his box tears in his pockets very easily, while I maintain the quality of my cards in pristine condition and look cool doing it at the same time. The case definitely adds a "Wow" factor to my tricks. Simply pulling a deck of cards out in the holder adds to the magical mood by itself.
This truly is the perfect companion to any deck of cards. However, my only complaint is that the case adds quite a bit of weight to the deck and can become annoying to carry after some time. Also, although my case has not scratched yet, I am constantly worrying about placing my keys and case in the same pocket, for fear of scratching it.
Overall, I give this a 10/10, since the weight complaint is impossible to fix and my scratch fears are unfounded, as it has not actually happened to me yet. This case is a steal at only $17. I would be willing to spend $30 for it.
