This device does exactly what its advertised to do, and for the low price its being sold at, its an excellent bargain. Assembly took all of 45 seconds. Assembly instructions were poor as noted by other reviewers, but putting this thing together isnt exactly rocket science. fits VERY perfectly onto my closet door frame.
solid construction, feels very durable and sturdy. I think this will last me quite a while. Just did a set of pull ups and I felt very safe and comfortable using this device. If it leaves marks on the door frame, so be it. That can be repainted easily enough. I doubt, if used correctly, that this will cause any permanent damage to your door frame. you can easily create added protection just be wrapping the ends of the bar in a sock or a towel.

Working out used to be heh for me, but after getting the door gym I made a rule. Anytime I enter my bathroom (which is where it is suspended) either before or after I have to do 10 Pull-ups and 10 Neutral pull-ups, also since I purchased the broad-reach 10 of those as well. It's working wonders, within the first week of doing pull-ups where i'd use my legs just enough to complete the pull-up I'm now able to do 10 regular pull-ups. I'm very happy with this product, only downside (which I personally don't really care about) is that depending on what kind of door frame you have you could get some denting on the front side, the backside works just fine and leaves no marks on your walls. So anyway... I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a quick and depending on how hard you want to work :P easy workout.Customer Review: A good surprise for a change

I was pretty skeptical about the quality of this items but the reviews were excellent so I took a chance. Turns out it is an excellent little pull/chin up bar for those days when I don't feel like braving the elements outside. Great for just grabbing a set when you walk by. Surprisingly stable and yes it actually stays put. It is NOT a dip, pushup, situp bar. If you are doing knee ups with the special attachments you better be a midget. They cheapen their product in my opinion by trying to make it out to do everything. Only real complaint is they needed another set of foam padding for the pullup bar. (Inside and outside of the close grip handles) Easily rememdied with some pipe insulation but they should add it themselves.
A very good pull bar for the house.

This is a great fitness gadget because of the following reasons:
1. You don't need screws to install it - in a second you put it on a door frame without any screws or installation.
2. You can do a good workout in a short period of time.
3. You can dissasemble it and store it easily or take it with you if you travel a lot. On my previous job I had to travel a lot so it was great for me. I even went further and improved it for quick and compact dissasembly by installing fly nuts (the ones you can easily unscrew with your hands) and by cutting the long bar in the middle and installing inside a tube, so I could fit it in a medium bag without any problem.
I would deffinitely recomend it for a home or for a person who travel a lot.

I'm 16 years old and play soccer and tennis for my school team. I needed a pullup bar to build more upper body strength, but this is so much more. You can use it as a situp spotter, a pushup apparatus for an increased range of motion and, of course, a pullup bar. The amazon box that this product came in is huge but the actual product box is tiny. Putting it together took about 2 and a half minutes and the only tool you need is included. The construction is very sturdy. So far, i've used this product for three days and am extremely happy with it. Some people talked of their safety concerns but i had none whatsoever. It easily supported my 150 pound body. I would recommend this without a second thought to anyone looking for a better way to get fit.
