My husband and I ride together so I bought this and he installed it in one of oue bikes. One has the original one that came with a bike trailer. We use the InStep QUICK and EZ. We were riding our bikes one day with the trailer on my bike and I got tired so we were able to switch it up within seconds on the side of the road. very good investment esp if you ride with someone and they might want to pull the bike trailer.Customer Review: Great coupler but Amazon price is outrageous!

It is wonderful to have an extra coupler so you can use the trailer with more than one bike. I can't believe the price is over $30.00 at Amazon.com. Even though many dealers are out of stock, their prices are under $10.00 and I found one in stock at another dealer for $17.00 with free shipping. This seems like price gauging to me. We purchased the coupler on Amazon due to Schwinn having the original Coupler out of stock. This product was much cheaper than Schwinn offers and works the exact same as the original. It comes with instructions for applying to your bike. We are very pleased to have a second coupler so we can apply the trailer to either of our bicycles. This coupler has been incredibly hard to find at a reasonable price. For awhile ebay was the only place to get it and they were $35.
They work as they are supposed to. We bought 2 so we wouldn't have to switch back and forth. One bike has a quick release hub the other is just bolted on and both were easy to install. I had to take my rear rack off, though.

I bought this extra Coupler so both my wife and I could attach our Schwinn Bike Trailer to either bike. As far as I'm concerned, this is a must have. The coupler system makes it so easy to hook up a trailer to a bike and based on how much I have already used it I feel confident that it is a high-quality and reliable system.
