The history of COPAG is directly linked to the history of card games in Brazil. Pioneer in the manufacturing of decks, COPAG has been in this market since the beginning of the 20th century. Albino GonCalves, a graphics designer, founded the company in 1908 in the city of Sao Paulo and ever since COPAG has kept its position as the absolute leader in its market segment. Today, from its modern and large industrial facilities located in Manaus, in the state of Amazonas, COPAG sends part of its production to the international market, exporting decks to the United States as well as to different countries in Latin America.
These two regulation-size poker decks each measure 2.5-by-3.5-inches (W x H), and are made of practically indestructible PVC plastic material for years of use. Completely washable via a quick wipe with a damp cloth, the cards won't soil over time, and come complete with a hard plastic storage and carrying case.

Customer Review: The best I have used
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

We used to use Kem's in my club, but have switched to Copags, and I can tell you these are so much better. They glide well on both sides (we had issue's with Kem's not gliding depending on the color and the side). You can wash them (the Kem's ink would wear after a while). They are harder to mark (trying to dig your nail into the corner will make it pretty obvious). They stay flat and fresh, even after a year and a half of pretty heavy use. So, you are paying abour 6 times what you would pay for a set of Bicycle's, but they will outlast them 100 times over. I have not tried some of the newer acetate cards, but I have no need to. The box is great and stays closed.....you just can't get a better value either. You will save a lot in the long run. Lastly, these feel much better than the Kem's. I'm glad we switched (Kem quality had dropped a lot since they were bought out, and they became a huge waste of money for us, and after getting ripped by the company for 4 decks, we switched). Stick with Copag, you will be happy. It does take a little getting used to at first, because they are pretty slick, but once you use them you will not want to use anything else.

Customer Review: Upgrading my card experience
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I play a friendly game with a friend who pops on by several times a week. Normally we burn through decks pretty quickly. We've had enough opinions on decks up to this point to know what we wanted and didn't want.
Neither of us knew about plastic cards, so we waited with tentative excitement.
When they arrived I was curious to see how well they stood up to bending and the weather. We play outside and I'm in the habit of leaving in the elements. So I took one of the cards and left some water on it for the day. Obviously, plastic cards shouldn't allow the water to penetrate. But when I returned home, I was still filled with joy to see that it hadn't. Then I tried keeping it a bent position for a long time and it didn't hold.
As of now they are great, but I've had them for only a week. I hope these stay with me for months and months to come.

Customer Review: Best playing cards ever
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I ordered this playing cards after some research comparing them to other brands that were about the same price and quality. I must say I am really happy with my purchase.

This playing cards are from great quality, they don't bend as easily, the can get wet and don't get soggy or broken.. They are great to shuffle. Overall this are the best cards I've owned. My friends liked it so much they ordered for them as well after using mine.

They came in time, and with the case as advertised and with guarantee and everything. The case is hard and protective. I've owned mine for almost a year now, and they look as if they are new and I use them practically every day.

Customer Review: Forget paper cards!
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

Great cards! We played a home game with these and we didn't have one card flipped over during dealing of the game. We had that problem with paper cards bending, catching "air" and being exposed. They are a bit slick being brand new so you just have to handle with care when dealing and you shouldn't have any problems. I believe they'll be less slippery after a bit of use though. I am looking forward to using these cards for a long time for all my future games.

I highly recommend these if you want to try a set of plastic cards! Then, shuffle up and deal to see if you like them as much as I do.

Customer Review: Fantastic!
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I only play poker 8-10 times a year, but I thought I would splurge and by a set of these cards. WOW! I had no idea what I was missing. Playing with these cards vs. regular playing cards is so different! They just have such a great feel and flex to them. They definately feel lighter and thinner than regular playing cards - but they are PERFECT for playing poker, particularly when you want to bend up the corner and just peek at your cards.

If you are going to play poker a few times a year - these are the cards to get. Definately worth the investment.
