Copag turned 100 years in 2008. To celebrate this monumental event, Copag has released a limited edition commemorative Centennial playing card set. The Centennial set is placed in a special tin box and the playing cards are 100% plastic. The card faces have an artistic flair that make the Centennial set as memorable as this grand event in Copag's history. The history of COPAG is directly linked to the history of card games in Brazil. Pioneer in the manufacturing of decks, COPAG has been in this market since the beginning of the 20th century. Albino GonCalves, a graphics designer, founded the company in 1908 in the city of Sao Paulo and ever since COPAG has kept its position as the absolute leader in its market segment.
